With Charlton Heston unfortunately not an option for a return to head up Omega Sector — why not put Sir Sean Connery in a True Lies 2 cameo here?

His name has been floated several times in recent years to play a James Bond's "M," and such a pairing of Brosnan and Connery not only serves to symbolize True Lies 2 as standing on its own, but would lock it down in history. I think a case could be made to the man who did Never Say Never Again in 1983.

True Lies 2 is a rare opportunity for so many layers of irony within irony: Make Pierce Brosnan's once-Bond now Bond again; and then some. I wouldn't hide from dialogue that leverages his Bond pedigree, any more than the original avoided the shadows cast by Bond in tuxedos and tangos. I'd play it up.

And if Omega Watches continues to use Pierce Brosnan's image to promote their James Bond line, despite their rather revoking his personal Ambassador status, True Lies 2 may end up featuring him in a Rolex 14060M Submariner with his endorsement of this watch as present day successor to the models worn in the early films.

As specified by Ian Fleming himself. Can't get any truer than that.
