It’s inevitable and unfair. Now what?

“Mindshare” success is inextricably linked to increased visibility. The more effective you are in presenting your ideas and making them reach those you seek to influence, the more exposed you are, personally. As your visibility rises, so, too, do the attacks. And not necessarily from only those who disagree with you. I found a bit of self-reflection on this matter today by Rush Limbaugh during the 1 o’clock hour of his radio program. Where does Facebook fit into your personal branding (strategy)?

Ah, social networking— Ostensibly, the web-Forum equivalent of device convergence where cell phones promised to deliver PIM, Internet access, camera, file storage, and what-have-you, all in one handy technology. My BlackBerry Bold is rather stable, thank you very much. And I can quantify its ROI for me, personally, without breaking a sweat.
